Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class III Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding the two-inch hitch receiver to the back of your Tacoma is gonna allow you to tow small trailers, put a bike rack on the back, or maybe even a cargo carrier. A lot of people think just because a truck has a bed doesn't mean that you're never gonna need any extra space, but I can tell you as a truck owner, you often run out of space for those bulkier items, like coolers or some larger luggage. So adding a cargo carrier on the back or making yourself some more room for your bikes on a bike rack is definitely gonna be a plus. Now, if you are planning on towing a trailer, it will have nice large safety chain loops here, so you can get safety chains of many different shapes and sizes. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. Before we get into that, though, let's just take a couple of minutes, check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. Putting a hitch on a Tacoma makes sense, you know, you got a pickup truck, you can do truck things, you know, pulling trailers around and everything like that. Use it for accessories, too, if you happen to want to carry some bikes around or carry some extra stuff, some extra equipment, you can always get a cargo carrier, so really open up your opportunities on what you're gonna be able to do with your Toyota. With that said, just to compare this hitch to the etrailer one that's available, honestly, they're pretty much identical in terms of what they're gonna be capable with and things like that. more

Rob: Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Now, here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it fully installed. It is going to be like a typical truck hitch where the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out, and just a tiny bit of the cross tube below the bumper. But it does have that flat black finish on it, which is going to hide scratches, dirt, and everything else really well, and it's just going to kind of blend into the bottom of your truck, so it's not going to be this big eyesore at the back. Our hitch is a class three hitch. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Toyota Tacoma - Curt

Speaker 1: Today on this 2014 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to review and install the Curt Class III trailer hitch, part number 13323.Okay, this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Tacoma. You'll notice right off the bat, vast majority of it's hidden behind the bumper, and we're actually looking from a little bit below, so when it's on the ground you'll hardly see anything but the receiver opening right here. Now this a great addition to your Tacoma for all your towing and non-towing needs. You're gonna have a two inch by two inch opening, which is standard class III opening, and if you go farther back a little bit, you see your half inch hitch pin hole. On the bottom here, we have our safety chain loops. Nice and simple, and work with a wide variety of hooks that are out there. If you go further back to the cross tube here and the rest of the structure of the hitch, it goes out to the ends of the frame, and it goes up in between the frame and the brackets for the bumper. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Toyota Tacoma - Curt

Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma, we'll be having a look at and installing the Curt Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 13323. All right, here's what our hitch looks like installed. One thing you may notice about this hitch is it maintains a factory-like appearance because the main body of our hitch, the frame itself, is hidden mostly behind our bumper here. Another nice thing about this hitch is that the end of our receiver here, while close to the end of our bumper here is still recessed a little bit behind it, so when we're loading cargo into the bed of our truck it doesn't stick out too far that we're going to run our shin or our knee into the hitch. We have a nice amount of clearance around our receiver opening here, so we shouldn't have any issues with interference with the step in our bumper or hooking up most hitch-mounted accessories. On the bottom of our hitch we have these nice rolled steel safety chain loops, which are plenty large so we shouldn't have much issues using any size safety chain loop on them. We can use a safety chain loop in the front, the side or the back of it. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Toyota Tacoma - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2008 Toyota Tacoma we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max Frame Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 75236. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the truck. As you can see, it gives a very factory look where it comes out just below the bottom of the bumper here. It's going to give us really good accessibility for all of our accessories that we may want to use, whether that be ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. Features a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening with a nice reinforcement inaudible 00:00:35 around it that's welded on. Features the 5/8 inch standard hitch pin hole. That's going to be used to secure all of your class 3 accessories. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Toyota Tacoma - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2006 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame class III trailer hitch receiver, part number 75236. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, everything is pretty well hidden. You're not going to see much of that cross tube that's under there, so primarily what you're going to see is the receiver tube here along with the safety chain loops. One nice thing about these safety chain loops is that being this rolled steel style that loops out here, it's going to give you plenty of clearance all the way around. Especially if you have bigger safety chain hooks, you shouldn't have any problem getting them through there. With this hitch, it features both a 5/8 standard hitch pin hole there and then the smaller 1/2-inch hitch pin hole. What that 1/2-inch hitch pin hole is going to be used for is only if you're using a J-pin stabilization system to help keep your accessories nice and secure. The face of the receiver tube opening here is almost flush with the bumper. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Toyota Tacoma - Curt

Today on our 2007 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt custom fit class III trailer hitch receiver. This offer is the two-inch opening. Its part number is 13323. Here is what the hitch is going to look like once we get it installed, really nice kind of a low profile kind of hitch, not a whole lot of it's taken out except for the business end here in our receiver tube opening. Going to have a heavy cover that runs around, works great for the immobilizers. This is a class III hitch, so towing, bike racks, cargo carriers, you name it, it's going to go well with this hitch. Now there's a flange here and most of our tube is supped up behind our bumper to where we can't see it. It's then going to taper down and come out to that receiver tube opening. more
